"Schiachpercht" Linocut Print
For this print I use a handmade Kahari paper from the Nepalese Himalayan Mountains. It has rough edges on three sides and you can clearly see the used fibers. It’s made out of 100% natural Daphne, it’s acid-free and has a warm but rough look. As the paper is very fine and thin, only 30g/qm, you might want to underlay a sheet of white paper when you frame it.
The size is about 38 x 51 cm.
I use oil-based black ink and my hands, no mechanical press.
Due to the process every print is unique which, in my eyes, make them even more interesting. #wabisabi ;)
I have a very limited run of 20 prints on this special paper.
Every print is signed and numbered.
